BlueFish Regeneration to help BBC rural regeneration series

The MD of BlueFish Regeneration Ltd. is to help in the search for a Village Champion as part of a major new BBC television series
Imelda Havers has been asked to help the BBC and Big Lottery with their search for Village Champions as part of a rural regeneration series to be shown on television in 2010. 6 UK villages will be chosen to win up to £400,000 of Big Lottery money to set up and run innovative rural businesses. A Village Champion will be selected for each village chosen, to work with them for 12 months and help launch and run the business.
The closing date for applications was the 14th August and the race is now on to find top rural entrepreneurs who can turn around a village's fortunes. The selection process for villages and their champions will take place over the next few months before filming starts in May 2010.
